My True Crime Obsession

In the early 2000's a two year old boy shook the beliefs of many, including his parents, when he began having persistent nightmares of dying a plane crash. But as little James began recalling details of these dreams, his parents quickly grew suspicious that what their son was experiencing was more than just nightmares, they were memories. 

For this Minisode, we welcome back Officer Adam, who shares with us the story of the one event that stuck with him all throughout his career as a law enforcement officer.

On Easter Sunday, April 11, 1993, 450 prisoners rioted at the maximum security Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, OH. The ensuing standoff between rioters and law enforcement lasted 11 days, and ended with the deaths of one corrections officer and 9 inmates. 

On Easter Sunday 1975, James Ruppert committed the greatest single family massacre in Ohio's history. But what was the motive behind this terribly heinous crime?
